Bandit

Bandit is a very "people friendly" boy...he is about 1 1/2 yrs. old, loves children, loves to go for walks, is a "happy-go-lucky"/ "goofy" boy!...He is up to date with his vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and on flea and heartworm prevention...We adopted him last year when he was just a puppy...what we didn't know was his adopters gave him away to another family...2 weeks ago he was found as a stray roaming the streets 3 counties away from where he was adopted...animal control picked him up...our poor, sweet, Bandit has now been in 2 different kill shelters in his short life!...All I can say is thank goodness for MICROCHIPS!...Because we chipped him, animal control was able to trace the chip back to our rescue...needless to say I was devistated that our boy was back in another shelter, but very relieved to go and get him back...all I could do was give him a great big hug when I laid eyes on him...what a beautiful boy he had become....I hadn't seen him for over a year...he wasn't in the best of shape ....he was underweight, full of fleas and ticks, and intestinal parasites....great news though!...he has been at our vet for 2 weeks and he is gaining weight, had a bath (including his ears), was given a strong dewormer, updated his vaccines, and is back on flea and heartworm prevention!...He is ready for adoption again...he is great with other dogs and housetrained...when he lays down he looks so handsome because he crosses those long, front legs of his...he is VERY tall so he is able to jump a short fence...I'm sure a privacy fence would be great...if you would like to meet our wonderful boy, please call Jody at (352)316-5155....Thanks!
