Adorable little Bambi was rescued from a high-kill shelter in the south. She is approximately 1 year old and weighs a mere 9 pounds. She likes to be held and petted. She plays well with other dogs her size but is intimidated by larger dogs. She does ok with cats and is learning crate training. She is housebroken and is fine with people of all ages. However, because of her size, we will not adopt her out to families with children younger than 6 unless they have grown up with toy or small breed dogs. She is just a love of a dog, a real cuddle bug. Bambi's adoption fee is $400.

We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.
Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
