Bambi

Bambi is a sweet female dog that we think is about 2 years old. She weighs 56 lbs. We're not sure of her breed but could have some black mouth cur, shepherd, some boxer, lab or maybe even some hound. We call her just 100% beautiful but we think a DNA test would say "Super Mutt."! Bambi came to us with a litter of 7 puppies. All have been adopted and our mama is ready to move forward with a home of her own. Bambi is fine on her leash and will go out to the play yard and energetically sniff around. After she gets the "edge" off she is happy to chill on a bench with her person and just enjoy the beautiful weather. (Quick, before it goes away!). Bambi knows sit and paw. She recently attended an event at a local petstore and did fine. She was good with her handlers and got along with the other dogs at the event. We think repeated exposure and patience will allow this beautiful girl to gain more confidence outside of her immediate environment and blossom into the dog she was meant to be. Bambi would thrive in a patient home, perhaps with another confident dog, that allows her to be comfortable at her own pace.
