Baker

Baker is a very nice boy! He was found as a stray and rescued by C.A.R.E.S. on 6/10/05, when his time was up. He is a mixed breed dog--our guess is Labrador Retriever and Rottweiler. His coat is a little longer than a lab. He is about 1 1/2 years old and weighs about 55#. His picture does not do him justice, he just wouldn't stop wiggling for the camera! Baker is a very gentle dog. He loves to be hugged! He is just a lover! He gets along with other dogs and cats. He even plays well with little dogs, he gets down on their level! It's just so cute!

Baker is beginning his Basic Obedience classes and is doing fine. He is also learning to go for long walks with the Gentle Leader, which comes with his adoption fee. He does really well--he is a pretty smart boy who is eager to please.

Baker has been crated for travel and did fine. He appears to be house trained.

This dog's adoption fee is $265 (plus tax). This includes being neutered, current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, microchipped with the HomeAgain microchip, heartworm tested (negative) and medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, comes with a Gentle Leader headcollar, and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners.
