August 1 - Baina has found a fabulous new home! She won the hearts of a couple who had a dog of a similar breed mix in the past and she is now enjoying a great life with them.
The Delta Humane Society has asked us to post Baina on our website in hopes it will help her find a new home.
If you are thinking there isn't much Shar-pei in this gal you are right, but, there is some! She has a great personality and is smaller than she looks in her photos. She has little Shar-pei feet, a few cute wrinkles on her forehead and bum not to mention a super waggy Shar-pei style tail that never stops. Read on for more information about Baina the Banana dog and details on where and how to meet her.
I'm your local pig next door. The grunty, wiggly thing that will wake you up first thing in the morning, and try to sneak into your bed every night. The dog with the lab's svelt body, the sharpei's snuggly wrinkles, and the endearing smile of a staffie. These folks at the shelter think that I'm about two years old, and a total hoot! They call me the class clown, whatever that means?
I like my doggie bed, and all of my toys. Sometimes I collect them all and prance around trying to get everybody's attention. I'm training the staff at the shelter well, but I'd like to get out of here already. I wouldn't even mind if you had kitties at your house, but since I'm an attention hog, I'd prefer to be an only dog, or live with boy doggie, who understands that I will always out-grunt, and out-do him.

P.S.- Baina means "sparkling" and that is just what I am.
