There’s a handsome new blond guy in town and is ever he cute! His name is
Bailey; he’s six years old and as good-natured as they come. People who meet him can’t describe him without using words like “sweet cake” and “dream puppy”, “so sweet” and “loving”. At about 100 pounds, he’s not fat, just a big loveable Lab. He knows “sit” and “shake” and when called, he always arrives politely with tail wagging. Treats are taken ever so gently.
Bailey is a pleasantly active Lab who gets along beautifully with other dogs. He quickly adjusted to his foster home and is living with another male Lab and a bossy female Australian Shepherd mix. This even-tempered guy fit right in! Bailey loves to go on walks and, though he pulls, he’s responding to his foster mom’s training efforts. He sleeps like a baby through the night and is a delightful companion on car rides. Bailey is a good boy in the house, though he does like to snooze on the furniture and finds the contents of an accessible trash can quite fascinating.
Bailey came to us with allergies and feeling a bit low. He’s doing great now thanks to a special food that is readily available and an inexpensive daily thyroid pill -- no more itching, his coat is greatly improved and there’s a happy twinkle in his gorgeous, gentle amber eyes.
Bailey’s foster mom tells us: “His most endearing habit is that he’s a lover boy who loves to be petted and is very gentle. He’s one of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever been around. Without a doubt, he will be a wonderful dog for a very lucky person.”
