Bailey

This is Bailey, an 8-10 year old long-haired chihuahua who was picked up as a stray. She is almost totally deaf and recently lost one eye due to glaucoma. Bailey’s confidence has improved but she is still fearful of people approaching her quickly and from above her. She is willing to be handled, carried and groomed. She never barks. She loves walks around the neighborhood and is becoming more playful and loves head and belly rubs. Bailey is mostly housebroken. She uses pee pads in the evenings or overnight and if we are gone for a stretch during the day. She would do best with a daily routine. She can’t do tall stairs, so she needs to be carried up and down. Bailey would do best in a home with no children and no large dogs. We don’t know how she would be with cats.
