Baby Boy

Do you have a moment to meet “Baby Boy”? Yes, that is his name and for good reason. When Baby Boy first came into the shelter, he had been found by someone who had seen him roaming around her neighborhood for a while, looking for food. He was lucky that due to her big heart, she finally was able to catch him and held him to be picked up. When Baby Boy arrived at the shelter, he had what looked like scratches all over his body. He had a skin infection that no one in his prior home treated. Since no one came looking for a missing dog that matched his description, we wonder if his owner didn’t just abandon him in a random neighborhood, to starve and go untreated for his skin. After all this, and obviously being in pain and feeling very itchy, he still wagged his tail and just wanted to give us kisses. He was just a big Baby Boy. Baby Boy has now gone through treatment for his skin problem, and is starting to grow his hair back now. He seem so much more comfortable. Baby Boy has been wonderful with other dogs and puppies, but most of all enjoys gently putting his paw on your lap to get your attention. He is a very loyal dog, and in his past no one allowed him to show his loyalty. Baby Boy is very tolerant and will let us do anything to him. He has done well with calm children too. He really just wants love and lives to please you. He comes when he is called, and sits too. He is an American Bulldog, just like the English Bulldog but bigger. He is an adult male, with handsome brindle markings over a white body. Hopefully you can see in his picture that he has stunning blue eyes. It is easy to get lost in them when he looks at you so soulfully wanting love,…….just love and kindness.
