My Story

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an Adoption Questionnaire at https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/43315/generic You can learn about the adoption process by visiting: http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/howtoadopt/. Dog's Name: Babe Cherry Garcia (CHE0324K9SFD) Estimated Breed: Lab / Bulldog mix Approximate Age: 4 months Approximate Weight: 25 LBS Currently Living at: Foster Adoption Fee: $500 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Babe Cherry Garcia! Cherry Garcia is part of the Ice Cream Litter (Cookies and Cream, Peanut Butter Fudge, Chunky Monkey, Karamel Sutra, Rosie's Batch, Strawberry Shortcake and Cherry Garcia). Their mother was rescued from a high kill shelter in the south, she weighs 40-pounds. Cherry Garcia is currently staying in a foster home while searching for her forever home. Could that be with you? Cherry Garcia is your typical puppy. She is very friendly, outgoing, and playful. At her young age, she is in her prime for training and socialization. Cherry Garcia is not just friendly, she's also healthy and happy, a testament to her resilient spirit. But what she truly needs is a forever home where she can share her love and joy. Adopt Cherry Garcia and let her sweetness fill your life. Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets. Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
