Axl

Axl is a 7 year old male German Shepherd who came to rescue after his owner passed away. He lived most of his life with one family, has received good care and lived as an indoor dog. At a young age Axl went to professional training at Modern K9 Solutions. He is house trained, crate trained and knows basic obedience (sit, down, free, come, heel, etc.). He is trained to work with an e-collar. Axl is not reactive when out on leash walks. Axl is a moderate energy dog who weighs about 70 pounds. He is a people lover and is a friend to all he meets. Axl has had regular visits from a 5 year old boy who comes over to play with him. He loves to get attention from the neighbor kids when he’s on walks! Due to the recent loss in his life Axl will be happiest in a home where his people are around more than they are gone. Axl would like to be the only dog in his new home. His reaction to cats is unknown. ------------------- Our Adoption Fees: ------------------- *Dogs and puppies 12 months old or younger: $400 * Adult dogs over 12 months of age: $350 * Senior dogs over 7 years of age qualify for our "Seniors FUREVER" program! Seniors are special to us, so we offer two options: (1) If your heart has a special place for the seniors, you can adopt a senior dog for the regular adoption fee of $350 and this becomes a perpetual fee. You can adopt another SGSDR senior dog at any time from us in the future at NO CHARGE. (2) If you aren't sure about your future adoption capacity, you may adopt your SGSDR senior dog for a reduced adoption fee of $250.
