If you've ever dreamed of owning a baby seal, this cutie happily moonlights as one, and his tripod status doesn't slow him down! Axel, an approx 2 year old, 47 lb Bulldog mix (best guess!), is a super affectionate mushball who basks in the attention of humans and truly appreciates his new lease on life. With his missing rear limb, he'll spin in excitement when you arrive home (or wake up in the morning), giving out tons of kisses until he sneezes. (It's too cute!) Axel is the best sidekick who enjoys going on adventures to local events. All he needs is a lift in and out of vehicles, and he's good to go. He's a great listener, is highly food-motivated, lives to please his family, and is very playful. He can be a little "mouthy" so he's looking for a home without small kids. He absolutely LOVES his canine foster sister and will kiss her until she's soaking wet, and he gets along very well with other dogs with a proper intro. Axel will thrive in a home with minimal steps, as he cannot do full flights of stairs, but he's totally content sleeping downstairs while the rest of the family is sleeping upstairs. No cats. He is microchipped, vaccinated, and neutered, and has been treated for heartworm. His adoption fee is $600.
