Axel

Hello, meet this sweet puppy, his name is Axel: A German Shepherd and Great Pyrenees mix, born on February 11th, 2023. So, yes, he is still a puppy. Axel is one of six siblings that survived from a litter of 12. He weighs approximately 90 lbs, is very smart, very sweet, loves his humans, fast learner and food motivated. Like all her siblings, Axel loves water, so he uses the water trough as his private pool. Axel is full of energy, and he will fit perfectly in a home where there is a lot of activity, like walking, hiking, etc. We recommend a home with a fence that is at a minimum 5 feet tall, for his own security. Suggestions for a successful adoption are, no small children, no small animals or farm animals, as he has not been exposed to them and he might chase. Axel gets along and plays with his siblings; however, he should be fed separately from other animals in the home because he doesn’t like to share his food.
