Meet Axel, a delightfully goofy American Bulldog mix with a heart as big as his personality. Although we can only guess his breed since he was found as a stray, Axel's charm is undeniable. When he arrived at our shelter partner, Axel was missing hair from his mid-back down to his back legs, giving the appearance of wearing pants! This was due to a severe case of fleas, but with proper care, his hair has started to grow back beautifully. Axel is mostly white with a few spots on his body and distinctive markings on his head. At five years old, Axel is past the rambunctious puppy stage and has matured into a well-mannered gentleman. Despite his past, Axel's spirit remains bright and loving.
