Ava

Ava is a two-year-old, 40 pound Doodle (heavy on the Poodle part) who came to us from a local shelter. Someone left her tied to a water fountain at an Atlanta-area park with a note that said she was great with kids. As you can see in the photos on the left, Ava was in filthy and in rough shape when she arrived. She was also full of milk, clearly having weaned puppies recently. We don’t know Ava’s story or even her real name but we do know that she needs a fresh new start with a family who will love her forever. Ava is a dear girl who has a lot of spunk. The smile on her face comes straight from her heart. She loves all people and other animals. Ava is a needy soul who wants to be in your space and show you how very much she loves you. We are teaching her how to keep her paws on the ground instead of standing up/on you to say hello. Ava loves to snuggle on the sofa and she would be thrilled if someone would let her sleep in bed with them at night. The more cuddles, the better for this sweet girl! Ava is impeccably crate-trained and she generally doesn’t bark or disturb her blankets when she is crated. Ava LOVES to ride in the car and she will lay nicely on the back seat during the drive. She is good both on and off-leash. She is housebroken for the most part but she does sometimes tinkle a bit when she gets excited. Ava is fully vetted -- spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations and deworming. The adoption fee is $300. We accept payment in the form of cash, CashApp and Zelle.
