Austin is a tri-color terrier mix puppy! He is approximately 8 weeks old. He is very cute and very playful! Austin needs a permanent home with a family that he can grow up with!!!

Due to Hurricane related displacement, even owner surrender dogs are now on the euthanasia list to make room for more dogs from the Hurricane. Dogs are coming into this shelter from Louisiana on a daily basis. We are putting together a transport to New England for willing Fosters and Adopters alike, in order to save as many dogs as possible. If you can help by Fostering for several weeks or months until homes are found for these Southern dogs, please contact us immediately. These animals are in dire need of homes, if you cannot provide a home, sponsors & fosters are needed for heartworm treatment for some of them. Even just fostering a healthy dog will help save lives!!!! Applications can be found at www.almosthomerescue.net and should be e-mailed to [email protected]. Transportation from Marion, Arkansas, is a paid transport. The adoption fee is $200.00 for altered dogs. (includes vaccinations, spay/neuter and transport from AR)
