Update Oct - Austin has found his way back to the shelter. Due to health problems with his owner Austin is looking for a new home. Austin has lost some weight and is looking trim! He is still an active dog for his age and loves to play fetch. Austin does have a thyroid condition that will require lifelong medication but this doesn't slow him down at all! Austin is a very affectionate boy and is waiting for you to come and visit.
Austin is a sweet middle aged guy with lots of love to give! Austin is very affectionate and makes friends with everyone he meets. He is a favorite among the volunteers and staff alike.
Austin is a bit on the heavy side and could stand to loose a few pounds. He loves to go for walks and play ball in the playground. Austin does tend to act a lot younger than his years and may be younger than we believe.
Austin gets along well with other dogs and children.
