Austin has a hopeful home- we are no longer taking applications for him.

Austin is just about the most awesome dog one could hope for! This 10 year old lab is LOVELY- he is house-trained, knows all the basic commands, and is an all-around fabulous dog. He is a medium sized dog at only about 50 lbs. He is house-trained, dog/cat/kid-friendly, good off-leash, and fine being left home alone. Here is what his foster home has to say about him:

Here are some photos of Austin for Petfinder...wish we could keep him, he's the most wonderful dog in the world!!! I'm sure there's a family out there for him that will be fabulous! Of course, we're more than happy to keep him in the meantime. I think he'd do really well in a home that has people around most of the time to give him lots of attention. He's the cuddliest dog I've ever known! I haven't had any issues with him at all, his tummy has settled down nicely, and his appetite has increased a lot over the last few days. He has such a nice, calm temperment and is easy on leash. He seems to be great with kids too. He's very quiet and has barely barked at all. On our walks he meets other dogs ever so politely and then moves on. I took him to the beach and he's a riot in the water. He makes so many splashes I can't imagine he can really even see where he's going. If we weren't both going back to school and knew we'd have the time for him we would absolutely keep this amazing boy!
