August is the sweetest happy-go-lucky boy who loves to run and play. He was scheduled to be euthanized at the shelter because he had a seizure his first night there. We took him in and had him checked out by our vet. He was seizure free for a month with us before he had one. Our neurologist was able to get him in quickly and he was diagnosed with epilepsy. He is now on daily medication to prevent and control the frequency of his seizures and has been doing fantastic. August is a very friendly guy who would make an amazing hiking companion.
