Aubrie, a new name for her new life, was picked up as a stray, along with another Chocolate Labrador, now named "Myles" Standish, which is one of her many sons she had had over her lifetime.. His brother, named John "Carver", another one of her sons, was also picked up wandering a couple of days later and we have welcomed him as well. When their backyard breeder-owner called CCHS to see if they were at the shelter, they were given additional time to come in and pick up their breeding dogs and did not show up. They have never called back. So, we have proudly put a huge dent to their backyard breeding program.
BIO: A wonderful and beautiful English chocolate lady! Good with other dogs, cats and gentle with people of all ages.
PUPDATE 01/22/09: Aubrie is enjoying her foster home and being able to socialize with her foster family. Aubrie is very sweet, cuddly and affectionate. She loves running, playing fetch and taking walks and being around people. Aubrie is crate and potty trained. She is a total sweetie!
