My Story

One time a while back this beautiful mama dog was with her puppies at the pound. We took a post convention poll, asking questions about her views of the presidential race back in November. She has exquisite manners and she appears to be about 1 year old. We met her one Sunday at the shelter when the volunteers showed up to walk all the 10 dogs up for adoption. Just for now, we are calling her Atta Girl, she's where it's at (we are breaking all English teacher's rules, putting a preposition at the end of a sentence). Now Atta Girl has been renamed Cocoa and of course, we know a lot more about her since her time at the shelter. She has been fostered out by our premier foster person Nancy who adores this dog and hates to show favoritism but this is certainly one of her all time loves. Atta Girl is an affectionate dog who likes having something to do. She would probably do best as a companion dog to a person without kids since she is protective of children. That's certainly a good thing most of the time unless too many congregate in one place. Anyway, she is an exceptional dog and shows the best traits of her breed type. If you use your search engine and google the Australian kelpie, you will easily identify the best home situation for her and hopefully you might be the lucky one that can provide this for her.
