Atlas, a Lab who is as gorgeous as he is delightful. At a lovely, settled 3.5 years, Atlas is loving, playful attentive and very obedient. Deployment of a family member to Iraq and a new baby have left little time for this sweetheart, so the family asked us for help finding Atlas a new home. With all this boy has going for him, he’ll be in his new forever home in no time!
Well mannered and eager to please, he’s playful, friendly and patient with visitors of all ages and sizes. This wonderful Lab is housetrained, knows the entire repertoire of basic commands and is good both on and off leash. Atlas is always ready for a play date with dog buddies and lists walks, hikes and playing fetch among his favorite things to do. When bored, he might do a little digging in the dirt, but he’s not a chewer. He’ll share his food and toys, loves being groomed regularly and is a delightful car companion.
While Atlas may weigh in at a healthy 75 pounds, he’s a tender and sensitive fellow. His current loving family tells us someone must have used harsh words with him in the past because he’s frightened by raised voices.
An even tempered, well behaved and companionable Lab you can take anywhere and do anything with, Atlas could very well be that special boy you’ve been looking for!
