Hi there! My name is Athena and I'm a 6 year old, spayed female, husky that currently weighs about 55lbs. I'm a confident and affectionate lady that loves to explore! I'm a typical husky that loves to sing and chat. I'm hoping for a family that is familiar with husky personalities! I'm still working on my social skills so I prefer to be the only dog in the home unless you have a well-mannered male dog that's about my size. I would love to meet him before I officially join your family! I'm a sweet girl and could make a great family pet with kids of all different ages. I love treats and I'm very food motivated, so learning new things should come easily to me, I'm a super smart girl that already know 'sit' and 'down'. I am named after the goddess of wisdom after all. When I'm not busy learning, I enjoy romping around the play yard! Please note at this time we are doing adoptions by appointments only. Please call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment.Our hours are 11am-6pm (closed major holidays). Interested adopters must arrive at least 1 hour before close. We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can't guarantee every animal you see is still available. It's also typical for us to have animals who haven't had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
