My Story

CONTACT: ELAINE @ [email protected] Pretty as a picture, loving and gentle, with a strong response to mood, this 4 month old bundle of wiggle is ready for a loving home with a compatible dog companion (maybe her brother Zeus) and a family who will nurture her development and treat her with kindly respect - she will reward you richly with unconditional love and affection and will be a happy, playful and devoted companion - she loves to play and tumble with her dog companions, is inquisitive, responsive to commands and tries hard to chew her bone instead of the furniture - she is steadily progressing with this and her house training - she is well socialized with humans and dogs and is learning to walk on the leash - she does not bark unless she is alerting to a strange event or person - she is comfortable in the sunny garden for a short romp and then returns to the safety of the home where she seeks out her play companions or snoozes on the sunny ledge in the greenhouse - she settles well and quickly for a lap cuddle and enjoys a belly rub - she loves toys, eats well and is crate trained. Preferred Home: family with children over 10yrs of age who will nurture her continued development with love and kindness and will cherish her gentle disposition and curiosity about her world - she will reward you with a love and devotion that will further enrich your life and will be your forever friend - this relationship will require time on your part for a while in the beginning so that she will learn about boundaries in the world of humans - as her teacher you will delight in her willingness to please you and be your special pal. If you are ready to enjoy a puppy in your life contact Elaine - email at [email protected] Home visits are required for all adoptions. Special arrangements for adopters out of Albuquerque must be made in advance, but out-of-town adoptions may not be possible. If you live outside of Albuquerque, please call the NMAF office at (505)881-7297 to ask about an out-of-town home visit before traveling to Albuquerque to attend an adoption clinic.
