Howdy, my name is Aspen! I'm a big handsome Malamute/German Shepherd Dog mix about 3 years old. My partner Koda and I were strays and when our owner didn't reclaim us some nice people saved us from being euthanized (not sure what that is, but it doesn't sound good). Even though Koda and I could be adopted out separately, we get along so well together that we would make a very nice couple for a new family! I am very sweet and loving towards people and great around small children. I am very laid back and do great around other dogs. I have been fine in my foster home with two other big malamutes, male and female and will even let a new younger malamute jump on me and play. I'm really more interested in people than other dogs. Cats probably aren't safe with me. I have had some obedience training, am well mannered, housebroken and walk nicely on leash. I have even learned how to trot next to the bike on a device called a "springer". I like to take the occasional dip, especially when the weather heats up. I am neutered and up-to-date on my innoculations and am so ready to find a loving home all my own!
