He is 5 or 6 years old and he weighs around 12 or 13 pounds. He is a quiet boy that doesn't cause any fuss. He hasn't barked yet and seems to enjoy his quiet. He is a happy twirler when we put food down and when he first sees us. We call it his "Lil happy swirl". He probably was kept outside and not paid much attention to. He will need help learning to walk on a leash better. He's new to it and is eager to learn. Being an indoor baby and having attention seems to be all new to him. That is sad for sure, but he's forgetting all about his past! We are showering him with too much love and smooches and he is just loving it. He sometimes looks at us so confused when we try to play with toys with him, but he is learning. When he is wagging his tail and getting love it brings such joy to our hearts. When he was found by his "Angel Deb" he was full of fleas and matted with cockleburs and foxtails in and under the matting. But as you can see he’s had a nice shave down. And the groomer reported that he was a very good boy for grooming. ? Ashton gets along well with the other dogs and he enjoys hanging out with his human foster kids. They are 7 and 10 years old and he likes when they read to him and he also likes to watch them draw on the sidewalk with chalk. He lounges in the sun and listens to music while the kids play. He has a whole new outlook on his life! He is just a great boy and we are looking for the best of the best for him!
