date posted: new to our rescue as of 12/19/07. This lovely boy needs to be groomed before we post pictures of him online. He is going in for grooming on 12/22/07 and photos will be available after then.

Hey! Arnie is back from the groomers and looking like a new man. Check out his before and after shots!!

Please note: This dog will not be available until after Christmas.

Arrival story: He was surrendered by his owner to a local shelter. The owner stated said his young daughter was no longer taking care of him. This was pretty obvious to us, as he was so severly matted with hair in the face and body that his eyes were not even visible. This boys health and coat was severely neglected by his prior owners and he is now looking for a new home that will provide him with the care and attention that every dog deserves.

Approximate age & weight: approx. 1.5 years and 10 lbs. He is thin and could use some fatten up.

Personality: Arnie is a sweet boy. He loves to get kisses and be by his human at all times. He walks well on the leash, does great in the car and overall is a great dog. He loves his treats and his bed. He gets along with the other dogs and cats in his foster home.

The ideal home for this animal...Arnie will do well in almost any home. He would be a great companion animal for someone as he loves to be by his human and his aware of his surroundings...perfect for someone who lives alone, but certainly not necessary.
