My Story

Hey there, I'm starting to get concerned. Nobody wants to adopt me. I have lived here for months & months. I'm precious too ya know!!!! I'm beautiful baby Arial. "Ariel" is a bible name meaning "Lion of God", but I'm sweet as a lamb. They say I'm a Great Dane mix puppy & I'm about 10 months old. I only weigh 60 lbs so I'm extra small compared to a typical great dane. So that makes me even more special. But I'm still a big girl. My hair is brindle(dark chocolate brown with blonde) & white. I'm gorgeous! I'm very energetic, sweet, jolly & happy, and I love kids, people, cats & I really love to play & wrestle with all the dogs/puppies. I haven't met anyone or anything that I haven't loved instantly. I'm a sweetheart, & I'm pretty ornery & playful too. My favorite thing to do, is to play in water! They even gave me my very own kiddie pool. I hop in & out of it all day long. I lay down in it & cool off, stick my head under the water & fish out my toys that they toss in. It's a blast just to splash around. So if you live near a beach, a creek or even have a pool, that would be great! I think I'm one of the luckiest little girls around. Unfortunately I was struck hard by an automobile back in February, but Thank God someone had the decency to scoop me up from the middle of the road, in the middle of the night, where I laid all broken & covered in snow. I could not even move. They took me to the emergency room, & I had a fractured pelvis, nerve damage, etc.. I was pretty busted up. I lived there for about two weeks while I healed, then the nice person took me to their home for about 2 weeks so I could continue to heal, then they called Heaven's Lil Angels Animal Sanctuary, Inc.. And the sanctuary came right to my rescue. Even during my toughest times, I never lost my sweet, jolly spirit. I am one of the happiest & sweetest lil girls you'll probably ever meet. I love everyone! I love life period!!!! I live life to the fullest. I'm the all around perfect girl. Well.....almost perfect. Everything healed up except I still have some nerve damage on the paw/wrist. Please don't let that discourage you from loving me or picking me to adopt into your family. I'm sure if you'd think about it, you probably have some flaws too. Nobody's perfect! And this isn't even my fault! It definately doesn't slow me down. I run as fast as the other dogs & I am doing great. I can run, jump, play, wrestle, fetch, etc., & I give lots of kisses too. Please have it in your heart to open up your home to me, "sweet lil Ariel". I'm an innocent baby who is lookin for love. And I hope you will choose ME! My friends keep getting adopted. When is it going to be my turn?! Adoption includes all of the following: Vet exams, x-rays, SPAYED, Heartworm Tested "Negative", Giardia Tested "Negative", Fecal Examination "Negative", Vaccinations & booster against: "Parvo, Parainfluinza, Distemper, Lepto, Adenovirus Type II, and vaccinations against Bordetella & Rabies", dewormed, current on a Heartworm Preventative, current on a Flea/tick Preventative, bathed/groomed, pedicure, ID Tag, my medical records, a Huge Puppy Housewarming Gift Basket (approx. $100 value) filled with toys, snacks, leash, collar, blankie, bowls, nyla bone, kong, doggie toothbrush, doggie hair brush, etc.. Wowwee! That's alot! And I'm worth it! Adoption requires a home visit if possible, good vet reference, personal references, completed application, signed adoption contract & a $300.00 donation to help cover a small portion of my expenses. As you can imagine, it's way under what they've put into me, so you're more than welcome to donate anything above that. Every penny counts & is greatly appreciated! Please call 740-596-8254 today & leave your name, tele #, a message & name of pet(s) you are interested in AND email [email protected] Why is it, that when some people choose to get a family pet, they think it gives them the right to make us live outside (& running loose, to fend for ourself), or to take us & dump us on a back road or somewhere ( & left to die) when they are tired of us????? Why are some people sooooooo CRUEL & EVIL?!!!! If I had been living inside, & had a safe fenced yard to go outside to play in, this would NEVER have happened. I had no tags, no ID or collar & nobody claimed me. So now I'm up for adoption. But atleast I get to live INSIDE & I have lots of new friends, along with yummy food & tons of toys! But I want my very own mommy or daddy! I'm a happy, jolly little girl who is waiting on you to make that call. Again it's 740-596-8254 Go to www.heavenslilangels.petfinder.com to read a little about the sanctuary here.
