Ari came to us as an owner surrender in July 2023, due to reactivity in his home. He is a 2 year old Shiba Inu that did not get the proper training and structure to truly thrive in his previous home (the only home he has ever known). We have seen an improvement since he arrived. He allows the people here to walk him and actually is very playful with toys. However, he is still weary of being pet if he doesn't know you. Ari needs a home that will continue training, and get him accustomed to new surroundings, and people. Ari takes some time to trust you (can you blame him?), so multiple meet and greets are required (he IS WORTH IT!!). Our adorable fella already knows "sit" and "down" and with some extra TLC we now someone out there is going to be fast friends with Ari.
