Archie

Sweet Archie! This little dude was a stray and nobody ever claimed him. He is sweet as can be and loves to be the life of the party. We don't know for sure what is in his backstory, but we do know that he loves adventure (will seek it on his own, so a secure fence is a must and watch those doors!), is hand shy and a bit nervous until he learns you won't chase him or yell at him. He is very sensitive to loud voices, yelling. Archie loves playing with other dogs his size, he will play hard for hours if you let him and his playmates are willing. He is a great office dog! He loves "going to work" and napping in his bed, checking in on activities. His potty training gets better each day as he learns to ask to go out and doesn't yet come when called (due to his trust issues) but he is working on them. He loves noisy toys (squeaky, crinkly), enjoys fetch, sniffing and running at high speed in the great outdoors. His perfect home would be with canine playmates and people who are not very loud, though busy is just fine as he is a very busy guy! He is afraid of children - so a kid free home is his request. It does take time for Archie to start to trust new people, so he will need very patient people. Archie's age and mix are a guess. He is built like a frenchie, plays and sounds like one, starts panting very early into his favorite games with his dog buddies so attention to keeping him cool during the summer is a must.
