ARAMIE's name means "calm" or "quiet" in afghanistan, where she was rescued from a dangerous street two years ago and came to live in our shelter there. she was very calm in a crowded facility with lots of noise and commotion. she settled in easily and was spayed and vaccinated by our vet. she has lived happily in outdoor pens with other dogs but especially likes being with people inside or in a yard. she is a non-demanding couch (or porch) potato who would make a wonderful companion for older or work-at-home adopters. we waited a long tlme for a chance to bring Aramie to the USA, and finally she was able to travel in may. she is now staying at a wonderful kennel in falls church, virginia, where she is ready to meet anyone who would like to get to know her and take her home for a try-out visit. please call the manager andrew at 954 594 7439 or pam at 703 577 4460 to arrange a visit. thanks so much!!!!!!
