April is a 2-3 year old Mini Schnauzer-Affenpinscher who weighs 6.5lbs. She gets along well with other dogs but will be shy and reserved initially with people. She is really a love bug and just needs an adult home that doesn't mind showering her with love. Once she knows she is safe in your arms, she just melts.
Our little girl was at the shelter and an absolute mess. She probably had not been groomed in years. She had dread-locks hanging off her face and she'd look out from under all the fur with these rootbeer colored eyes, begging to be saved. She was so fearful when she first came in, she hid at the back of the cage and didn't want anyone to touch her. She shook violently. Eventually we won her over and once she was at her foster home, it only took a few days before she was sleeping right next to her foster home and loving her new life.
