Apollo - Foster/Adopt needed!! Meet the sweetest dog ever. This poor guy was so scared when he first arrived but has made huge strides! We believe he was kept as an outdoor dog with little exposure to new environments. All he wants is attention and belly rubs!! Apollo loves all people and has been submissive with towards other dogs at the kennel, even the unaltered males. He is not a “treat-driven” dog and he works for your attention and belly rubs. We're estimating Apollo to be around 1.5 years old and weighs about 60 lbs. He is a Rotti mix with the perfect demeanor. He feels very safe in our kennel and didn't want to walk too far away but with patience and the dedication of our volunteers, he is now venturing out on leash exploring new areas day by day... And seems to be loving it! We have outdoor cats that hang around his kennel and he doesn't show much interest, he hasn't had close interaction with one though. He loves sunbathing and did very well getting a bath. He also gives the best kisses and would be an amazing lap dog, if given the chance. Apollo's potential new home should have a yard or an outdoor area/patio. He spends most of his day and time outdoors where he feels most comfortable. Apollo is vaccinated and healthy.
