Apollo was surrendered to us by his previous family because they said he was too high energy for them. We think he is a mix of Carolina Dog, Jindo, husky/shepherd/lab???
This is likely the case of a young dog needing more exercise. It is our experience that many young dogs end up in shelters when their activity needs do not match their current family situation or lifestyle. Given the right amount of attention, exercise, and healthy stimulation, we find that these so-called "hyper" dogs transform very quickly and positively into well-balanced, calm dogs. He loves to play with other dogs.
We are looking for an active family for Apollo. He is best with older children as he may knock over young children. He also needs a dog who wants to play. He will thrive with a healthy outlet for his pent-up energy. Email us for a pre-adoption questionnaire. [email protected]
We had Apollo at Petsmart recently and he was very calm and very well behaved.
Once you are pre-approved for adoption, you may schedule an appointment to meet Apollo.
