Anubis - Foster Home Needed

Born 9/23 WEIGHT: 35 lbs (6/29) MY STORY: Anubis is a handsome Poodle pup who spent about 4-5 months living on a breeder farm. He came with his two brothers and they are adopted. He’s available and is hoping for either a foster home or a forever home. Anubis is skittish but is making progress at his own pace. He does well with other dogs and likes toys. Anubis is currently learning what walking on a leash is all about. Each day at Fluffy Rescue he practices this skill. Give him a little time and a dog to follow on the walk and he will get his long Poodle legs in motion in no time flat! He’s making progress! Anubis needs a bit of confidence with new activities. He will need another dog in his forever home, this mentor dog will be a wonderful help in many ways. Anubis speaks dog language and he will learn from a resident dog the “ins and outs” of home life. His family will provide things too like patience, cuddles, new experiences and training. His family should read up on breeder dog releases. They will need to educate themselves and keep a positive outlook. Anubis will emerge like a butterfly from his cocoon and when he does it’s a beautiful experience to watch! He will spread his wings and fly. Like any butterfly it will take a little struggle to unfold but the results will be magical. We hope you are the lucky family to experience the magic. His family needs to remember that Anubis, up until being rescued, only knew life on a breeder farm. It was filled with dogs and living in a pen. Now he is free and hoping to experience life in a forever home. Will you be the family to help him grow into his potential? ADOPTION FEE: $750 To adopt the FIRST STEP is to complete an APPLICATION. Adopters must be 24 years of age. We can not adopt to families with children under the age of six.
