My Story

If you are interested in any of the dogs available at New Leash Rescue, you can reach out to the foster listed below for more information and then complete an adoption application which can be found at https://www.newleashrescue.org/adopt/policy. Please email the completed application to [email protected] Antonio is a sweet guy that came to rescue from a reservation. He is around 4 months old and expected to be a medium sized dog. This curious boy is looking for his forever family to give him all the love he deserves. At his foster home he enjoys playing with toys and the other dogs in the home. He has not been exposed to cats. He is not currently living with children, but has done well with kids he has met so far. Antonio would benefit from puppy classes, as all dogs do. He is inquisitive and ready to learn all there is to be taught. He is working on his potty training and is kenneled during the night and when his foster mom is at work. Accidents may happen as he transitions to a new setting. If you are looking for a sweet, active boy, Antonio will be the perfect fit for you! Meet him at our PetSmart meet and greet on Saturday from 11-2pm Adoption fee $550 + tax (no checks) Antonio is neutered, current on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped fecal tested, dewormed, and started on preventatives. Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home. Sometimes there is more that comes out about a dog's personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
