I was found as a stray in rural Oklahoma, animal control used a dart gun in order to catch me. Once they got close to me they used a rabies pole and dragged me to their truck. They took me to a scary place where my life was at risk after five days. A nice rescue in Arkansas came to rescue me as they knew I had potential and they would try their best to find resources for me. I stayed on the farm in Arkansas for about a year until I made my way to Happy Paws. The rescue President of Happy Paws met me in November of 2023 when she came down to Arkansas to volunteer and help on the farm. She knew she had to help give me the next steps to learn what it is like to be a dog, which is a HOME. In Feb of 2024 she took me in as a foster. So far I am super eager to please, I love scratches on my head, I am super soft after a good bath and brushing which I was a total gentleman for. I do not bark. I also like to stay to myself and more of a relaxed style of dog. Exploring new smells are my favorites so walks once I get comfy with you would be amazing! I do not mind cats so feline friends are no problem! I would do best with an experienced dog owner that understands decompression and patience. Here are some other things you should know about me: - I am not aggressive, but shy and apprehensive at first. - I am a special boy that deserves a great home. - Once I trust you, I promise I will shower you with adoration!
