Anna May

Hi guys!! I'm Anna May and I'm SO excited to meet you! I just love people! I am still learning manners and how to control my excitement so you may see me quite literally jump for joy at times, I promise it's something I'm working on though. I just need a nice human to come along and teach me some basic etiquette. I'm still young and very eager to learn! You may wonder why I'm a year old and don't have much training, well, I have spent almost my whole life in shelters. I was brought to a shelter out of town at about 4 months old and that's all I've ever known or been exposed to. I'm learning to go on walks now and how to walk nicely and the people here say I'm a quick learner! Unfortunately since shelter life is all I know, I can be standoffish with other dogs. Who wouldn't be a little reactive to a bunch of strangers barking at you though?! I'm sure with the right human and some patience we could work through this. I haven't experienced those little fuzzy things called cats so I'm not sure I'd want to coexist with any, but again, maybe it's something I could learn to live with. Give me a chance and I promise to be the best girl I can be!
