Name: Anita Best Guess for Breed: Dachshund and chihuahua mix Best Guess for Age: 5 years as of July 2024 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 12 lbs Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with kids or cats but she can be tested. Currently Living at: Texas shelter; scheduled to arrive in the DC area Saturday August 3 Anita is Looking For: Her forever home! She landed in the shelter through no fault of her own and is oh so eager to once again have her own humans for sniffy walks and all the adventures they can dream up. And cuddles - definitely cuddles! What she wants most of all, though, is to love and be loved, to know where she belongs, to know she's under her own roof every time the sun goes down.
