Angela

Angela is about 3 years old and weighs about 36 lbs. We rescued her because she was terrified in the shelter and was severely underweight. She's doing well in her foster home where she's slowly getting the courage to make friends with the other dogs. She is great with everyone, even the big dogs who scared her at first. With people she's clearly interested and oh so sweet but head shy, which makes us think she was hit before. She still thumps her tail when she sees her people. She's smart and seems to already be housebroken, but she's reluctant to relieve herself when on a leash, so she would do best in a fenced yard, since she is fastidious about not going in the house if she can possibly help it. Based on her appearance, she's been pregnant before. Angela is now wormed, spayed, and up to date on shots, and it's wonderful to see how much stronger and braver she gets every day. Once in a while, she even howls out of the blue, but only when she's very excited. We think Angela would be a wonderful pet for the right individual or family.
