Angel-adoption pen

Angel and her mother, Sweetheart (also available for adoption - you can see her here on our list of adoptable dogs), were abandoned in La Loche and brought to MLDHS June 26th in the hopes we could socialize them and find them a home. They were very timid and shy when they first came to us but have warmed up nicely to volunteers. We are unsure of their breeding but believe Sweetheart has some spaniel and maybe sheltie in her blood, and in turn believe Angel may be a spaniel mix as well. She's a small dog and we don't expect she'll too grow much bigger. She's approx 7 months old (mid-July '09). She also enjoys the attention of several child volunteers who work regularly at the shelter. She uses the doggy door in her kennel at the shelter to do her business outside so could probably easily be house trained given appropriate training. Our dog adoption fee is $150 which includes spay/neuter, shot, rabies shot and microchip. Puppies that are not old enough to be spayed or neutered prior to adoption will require a $300 refundable (upon proof of surgery being presented to MLDHS) spay/neuter deposit.
