Meet Andy Griffith! This handsome ol' man is ready for his new fur-ever retirement home! Unfortunately, he was brought in a stray with injuries and was promptly treated. We estimate he is approximately 10 years old if not older. With constant medical treatment, monitoring and of course, some extra tlc, he has improved. Although he has improved, he has laryngeal paralysis on right side of his throat as well as other medical ailements. Although he does have medical ailments, he is full of charisma, affection and never fails to bring a smile to your face. Potential adopters should be committed to letting Andy live his best life for as long as he can. He is very friendly, affectionate and spunky! He loves people! He truly enjoys to go on walks and likes the outdoors. He also adores some good cuddles, and always wants more pets! He does like to play as well! He can be vocal and loves to let you know what is on his mind. He is house trained, walks well on a leash ( there is a certain way we halter him) and knows basic commands. He would benefit from further training. It would be for the best for Andy to be the only dog in a home! No cats or small animals. He is on a special diet. He has been neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. This handsome boy will be awaiting those special folks to walk through our doors! Come on by and meet him!
