And now, a few words from me:
How to best describe me:  SWEETNESS itself!!!
Things I love: 1)  Cuddling on your lap or tight up against you.
        2)  Always being in the same room with you.
        3)  Food – I love my food…..and treats!
        4)  I love everybody who will take the time to say hello to me.
        5)  I love not being in a cage.  I lived for 8 years in a cage, so I LOVE my freedom.  I like the feel of green grass beneath my feet.
        6)  I love to romp in the back yard.  I am very fast.
        7)  I LOVE sleeping in bed with my foster mom and all my foster buddies, so I hope I can continue to do that in my new home
Things I still have to learn:      1)  I have to learn to walk on a leash.
                2)  I have to learn to do my business outside.  (My mom says I am learning fast….she says I am almost there.  Tonight I will not be wearing a belly band for the first time.  That’s how much progress I have made already!)
                3)  I have to learn to play with toys.  I have never had a toy in my life.  I know once I figure out what they are for, I will love to play with them.  Mom is going to buy me some new toys of my very own.

And now, a few words from my foster mom:
Andre spent all his life in a cage, and he is a very timid little boy, but you could not ask for a sweeter little guy.  He loves everyone and gives lots of kisses.  He acts much younger than his 8 years.  He is quickly learning how to do his business outside.  He has not had any mishaps for the last two days.  We are presently giving him supplements along with a very good dog food to help him build up his muscle strength and be the best that he can be.  Because he has been neglected all his life and is absolutely overjoyed at his freedom, Andre is looking for someone who will be home most of the time.  He would be heartbroken if he were left alone all day.  Another small, friendly dog or two would be great too.

He absolutely loves his tummy rubs.  If you stop, he will reach for your hand.  This is one precious little boy.  Everyone who meets him loves him at first sight.  How could you not?  You will melt when you meet him.  Would you like to be the lucky one to take him home?

Before you decide to bring in a furry addition to your family, please take a moment and try to think about your life over the next 10 to 15 years - or even more. Where will you be? Do you have plans to move? Travel? Have kids? Are you able to provide the dog with his or her required exercise demands? Please think very carefully about how this dog will fit into your life as new events may unfold. We want to ensure that this dog’s next home is also its last. If you’ve thought about all of the above and think that you may be the 'last stop' we look forward to receiving your application! Please ensure that you submit a fully completed application. Often we receive several applications for the same dog and if you leave out important details then you may be inadvertently eliminating yourself from consideration. Please visit the FAQ section on our website for more details. Thank you so much for considering a rescued dog.
