Meet Amour; this sweet pup was surrendered to Wags and Whiskers with his "siblings", when their owner's living circumstances changed, and they could no longer keep their animals. Amour is a bit shy at first, having been in 1 home, with only his family, for the whole beginning of his life; now he is learning how to act and react to other people, places, animals and stimulants. Just in the short time that Amour has been with us, he has already made leaps and bounds in his confidence level, and he is becoming more brave about going up to receive love from new humans. All of our pets are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested if over 6 months old and will be spayed or neutered before being allowed to go home. Unfortunately, we don't always know the background of each dog. Some were dumped, abandoned in an empty house, left tied to a tree, picked up by animal control as strays, or simply unwanted by their owners. Please take into consideration that owning a pet is a 10+ year commitment and discuss with all members of your family before submitting an application to adopt.
