Hi! I'm Amos, a very nice Beagle/Bassett Hound mix. I'm back here at Young At Heart after a trial run as an assisted living dog. Turns out, I like food way more than belly rubs, and became a pushy boy at the nursing home when it came to food- a little too much for an assisted living environment. So, here I am, a very nice boy, obviously someone's pet in the past, and have lots of great things to offer my new home! I am housebroken, good with other dogs, offer just a sniff to cats, and like car rides. I know "sit", but usually only for a treat. I'm an easy going guy, very quiet, and enjoy my foster sisters immensely. I like belly rubs and snuggling up on the couch, and am just a very low key, easy going boy who would like nothing more than to snooze on the couch with you, go for walks when it's nice out, and share some of your meals (ahem, the rescue says I can only have healthy snacks, but when they aren't paying attention, will you slip me a piece of that pizza, please?).
