Amelia has found her forever home with Jenn and Ned Smith in Aquebogue, NY.
Amelia is a puppy prodigy! She and her siblings were dumped in the woods. Her brother Lindbergh was found deep in the woods by a rescuer who heard him crying loudly. Early the next morning, the rescuer was awoken by loud yipping and wailing from Lindbergh and crying nearby was Amelia! Amelia found her way out of the woods to a neighboring yard and was frantically running back and forth along the fence trying to get to her brother! Once reunited, both puppies fell fast asleep. What a survivor little Amelia is! She is such a bouncing, funny, happy girl. She runs around with her front legs flying upward into a leap. When she's chasing her foster mom, she runs exceptionally fast for a puppy of only about 9-10 weeks!
Amelia is a choc.lab mix with a white patch on her chest and has beautiful blue-green eyes. She is already working on housebreaking! As with all puppies, she will need someone to love her and has lots of time to train her not to chew on fingers or nip at heels. Amelia will do best with a family with children older than 5 and energy to train a pup!
Amelia will be available to travel to New England mid-April when she will be just over 12 weeks and had all her shots. Her adoption fee is $450.

We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.
Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee.
