Adopter must live in Delaware, or no more than one hour drive from her appointment in Georgetown,DE Housebroken: Amazon is close to halfway there ! She tends to get wrapped up in exploring her new environment. If she is using her voice please know IT'S GO TIME! Crate trained: Amazon sleeps well in her crate and seems to know the difference between bedtime crate time versus when she needs to go in when her fosters are out of the house . She does go in the other times, just with some help(from a treat) . Good in the car: Minimial exposure here. Good on a leash: Patience required.This is a work in progress area. Her confidence is building but she begins pulling towards home when she's had enough. Playing in the yard she does better. Energy level: Amazon will play here, there and everywhere! She sometimes gets the playtime nips when she gets super excited. That being said we have been working on playtime manners. Need a fenced in yard: Not a need but would definitely be a bonus. Dog Friendly: Yes, Amazon is so ready to meet your dog, your friend's dog and that dog down the street. You may even make some new friends because Amazon wants to be friends with everyone! If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive homes? Not needed Cat Friendly? She is very cautious around them, unsure if they are a friend or not. Kid Friendly: Yes. Amazon lives with a 9yo foster brother and a 11yo foster sister. If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed with? Any age would be just fine . If the kids are on the younger side close supervision and guidance on how to interact with a bigger dog. She does give love nips when playing but can quickly be redirected. Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them? Amazon loves to talk to anyone who will talk to her. She is a silly girl who enjoys the yard, rolling in the grass and chasing her unicorn. Her curious nature and bright smile will make a fun addition to your family.
