The Italian meaning for Amaretto is "a little bitter". This Amaretto, is anything but bitter. When Amaretto first came to the shelter she would keep her head down as if she was trying to be invisible. Since then she has realized that she is safe and has really started to open up: she walks great on a leash, is good around other dogs, enjoys getting attention, lots of butt scratches and if you want to toss in some chest rubs that is always greatly appreciated. Amaretto is all around a wonderful girl. She is spayed and up to date on her vaccines. Only thing missing is her new loving family. If you would like to meet this young lady the shelter can be reached at 937-498-7201 with any questions you may have. Lobby hours are Monday-Friday 9-5 with Saturday 9-12. Open kennel hours are Monday-Friday 12-4 and Saturday by appointment.
