Alphe-adopted

This wiggly little sprite is Alphe! Short for "Albino with spots!" We've only had Alphe for a few days, but already he's proved to be a delightful handful. He absolutely has to be where the people are, preferrably right in your lap getting his ears scratched or curled up into a ball against your tummy. The best way to describe Alphe is "go go go... stop!" Always snooping into everything, like every good puppy should, and playing with his toys or our other dogs (who are puppies at heart) like he's on energizer batteries until suddenly he calls time out for a puppy nap. Then before you count to ten he's a little ball of sleep. Alphe's definately going to grow up to be a lady's man, with his heart-stopping hazel eyes, so impossible to resist. Which is how he earned his "other" name... Rascal! Alphe definately like to be in the middle of things, and believes he can get away with murder with his oh-so-cute puppy stare. Which is pretty much true! Good thing he's also a well behaved little man, already learning to pee on the puppy pads, to sit for treats (although we're not sure what the point of putting your bum on the floor is exactly), and stay inside when mom is trying to leave (we did like to bolt out the door at first... we really don't like being left behind). Alltogether, Alphe is a smart, spunky little pup with loads of potential. He'll do well in agility, already scaling the bed and baby gate, and climbing on the rain barrel like a gymnist. Not a dull moment but we absolutely LOVE him!

Definitions:

Pending - means that we are working through the adoption process with the 1st applicant. We usually don't add the pending until we are pretty sure the adoption will go through (like at the home visit stage)

On Trial or Trial Visit - means that the dog is in their new home for up to 2 weeks before the adopters need to commit to keeping the dog. We want to make sure that everyone is happy with the new living arrangements! We allow this option for everyone except very long distance adoptions (too far to drive).

Adopted - you know!! A happy ending for a homeless dog. We try to let everyone know when we have the final word. Within about 24 hours, the dog's bio will be moved to our happy tails section!ent with this boy.
