Meet ALMOND, a sweet little Doberman mix. She is about 2 years old, shy at first, then super friendly when she gets to know and trust you. Almond is a petite girl, at just about 40 lbs. Almond came to Wags and Whiskers when her family had to change homes and could not take Almond or her 7 puppies with them; she has sat patiently waiting for someone to come meet her and take her home, while she has watched most of her puppies get adopted. Unfortunately, we don't always know the background of each dog. Some were dumped, abandoned in an empty house, left tied to a tree, picked up by animal control as strays, or simply unwanted by their owners.
