Allie Kat is a sweet 2-1/2 year old, 6 pound Chihuahua. She was abandoned by her original family when a new baby arrived. Allie is not a yippy, yappy dog and is great with other dogs. She loves to play with balls and toys. She loves people and is sweet, cuddly and affectionate. She loves to be held and petted. She is housebroken and crate trained. She gets along with other dogs and probably would be fine with a laid-back cat. A lively, large cat might frighten her. She is well behaved, walks well on a leash and is a delightful little girl. Although she is fine with children, we prefer families without young children for small/toy breed dogs. Children can accidentally harm a dog this tiny. Her adoption fee is $400.

We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.
Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
